Sacha Cannon is an associate at Tereposky & DeRose LLP. He assists with a wide range of disputes, including Canadian anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations, economic sanctions, public procurement, and customs matters. He also assists clients in recognition and enforcement proceedings of international arbitral awards and foreign judgments before Ontario courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Sacha worked as lawyer and Tribunal Secretary with the Hon. Yves Fortier, arbitrator, in international arbitration matters, including investor-state dispute settlement, commercial arbitration and sports arbitration. He also served as a prosecutor for a large Quebec municipality. Sacha currently works as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, teaching advocacy and mediation techniques.
