Ximena Iturriaga joined Tereposky & DeRose in 2019. She has more than 10 years of experience in investor-state arbitration. She has assisted in the defense of more than 10 arbitrations under various free trade agreements and bilateral investment treaties, under ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitration rules. Previously, she served as Deputy General Counsel of the Ministry of Economy Legal Office of International Trade where she was responsible for Mexico’s defense in investment arbitration proceedings and participated in the negotiations of the FCT between Mexico and the European Union, CPTPP and USMCA.
