Madalina Fetescu is a summer law student at Tereposky & DeRose LLP, where she supports the firm’s international trade and investment practice. Her work includes assisting on matters related to anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations, WTO dispute settlement, customs compliance, economic sanctions, and public procurement.
Madalina is entering her third year of the J.D. program at the University of Ottawa, where she has been recognized on the Dean’s Honour Roll for academic excellence. She previously earned a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University with Joint Honours in Economics and Political Science.
Prior to joining the firm, Madalina gained legal experience in creditors’ rights at a Toronto law firm and held an editorial leadership role with the McGill Policy Association Journal. She is also actively involved in community initiatives focused on education and public health.
Madalina is fluent in English and Romanian and has intermediate proficiency in French.
